ABOUT ETHAN FOXX

Ethan Foxx is a musician, artist, and author. He is a private tour guide to the most beautiful Arizona and Southwest destinations, and a teacher of music in underprivileged communities.

A stage and studio singer from the Phoenix area, Ethan has been performing professionally for over 30 years, since the age of fifteen.  Ethan learned to sing while emulating the soft vocal nuances of David Gates of Bread and was also heavily influenced by dynamic metal vocalists such as Ronnie James Dio and Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden. In his own vocal style, Ethan is able to effortlessly transition between the extremes of gentle to aggressive.

Ethan was a founding member of the Phoenix band, Gadzooks, in his early teens. He later went on to form Sweatin' Blood, whose evolution from "Hair Band" to Progressive Metal led Ethan to explore the fullest potential of his artistic nature and drove him to express himself through many mediums, from writing poetry, fiction and non-fiction, to the visual arts. He plays guitar, drums, bass, and the Native American flute. Ethan also creates authentic rawhide shaman's drums and paints them with symbolic animal totems.

Ethan currently fronts the Phoenix bands HereAfter, Tripwire, KansAZ A Tribute to Kansas, Americana,The Foxx and the Cat, FOXX, and Rokyn. Some past projects are Blizzard of AZ a Tribute to Randy Rhoads era Ozzy Osbourne, Keep On Believin' A Tribute to Journey, and Rum Runners. He is also available to discuss collaborative writing/recording projects, performances as a substitute, and studio session work.

As an artist, Ethan works with airbrush, actylics, oils, colored pencils, pastels, digital graphics, traditional drum making and jewelry design. Ethan can be contacted for commission work and large-scale murals.

In 2013, Ethan published his debut novel EARTHKEEPR: AWAKENING AT SPIDER ROCK. With elements of Science Fiction, Horror and New Age Philosophy, AWAKENING AT SPIDER ROCK is part one of a trilogy set in a world reeling from cataclysmic changes. Ethan is hard at work on the sequel, EARTHKEEPER: GLOBAL RESET.
