
ETHAN FOXX MUSIC



Ethan Foxx is a versatile American vocalist, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer based in the Phoenix, Arizona area. Active in the southwest music scene for over three decades, Foxx is known for a dynamic vocal style that fluidly transitions between soft, melodic nuances and aggressive metal vocals.
Foxx began performing professionally in 1989, co-founding local Phoenix groups Gadzooks and Sweatin' Blood. In the studio and on stage, Foxx has fronted numerous recording and live projects spanning progressive metal, hard rock, and tribute acts, including Imaginal Cells, HereAfter, Hard & Heavy, Foxx, Rokyn, Tripwire, Deeply Purple, KansAZ, and Americana. He has also released solo music and has written and produced music for other artists, most notably album releases by Jim Sinur, and his Grammy nominated single Dark Star Love.

Beyond his primary focus as a lead vocalist, Foxx is also an accomplished visual artist, teacher, traditional shamanic drum maker, and author of the Southwestern metaphysical sci-fi novel Earthkeeper: Awakening at Spider Rock.

Imaginal Cells is an independent, American progressive rock and heavy metal band based out of Phoenix, Arizona. Formed in 2022 from the remnants of the band HereAfter, the group was founded by vocalist/guitarist Ethan Foxx and guitarist Jimmy Caterine. They are best known for crafting complex concept albums focused heavily on environmentalism, human connectivity, and socio-political themes.
